Sioux Falls, S.D. (March 20, 2011) - The Springfield Armor defeated the Sioux Falls Skyforce 112-75 at the Sioux Falls Arena on Sunday night. Sioux Falls shot a season-low 33.0 percent (29-of-88) from the field as Springfield picked up their first-ever win against the Skyforce in seven tries.

After the score was tied at two, Springfield (12-33) outscored Sioux Falls 19-5 to lead 21-7 after the first quarter. The seven points set a franchise record for fewest points in a quarter. Springfield outshot Sioux Falls in the first half 52.3 percent (23-of-44) to 26.8 percent (11-of-41) and led 50-28 at halftime.

Sioux Falls (10-34) would get no closer than 19 points in the second half and recorded a season-low in points as Springfield snapped a five-game losing streak.

Chas McFarland posted a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Jerry Smith (15), Gavin Edwards (14) and Lance Hurdle (14) combined for 43 points off the bench.

David Bailey posted a game-high 19 points in his first home game since becoming the franchise's all-time leading scorer. Patrick Ewing, Jr. added a double-double with 17 points and 15 rebounds while Sean Marshall contributed 10 in a reserve role.
