Erie BayHawks News Release

Erie, Pennsylvania, Tuesday, November 16 - The Erie BayHawks have set the franchise's most extensive promotions schedule in their three-year history that includes national entertainment acts, the return of their popular Affiliate Nights and the team's first-ever bobblehead giveaway.

The entertainment begins opening night as the team welcomes "Quick Change," a husband and wife team of illusionists that will dazzle fans with their lightning-fast wardrobe changes, the same show they performed on a recent episode of NBC's America's Got Talent.

Highlights of the BayHawks promotions schedule are as follows:

Friday, November 19 "Quick Change"

Saturday, November 20 Geoff the Juggler

Saturday, January 22 Toronto Raptors Affiliate Night

Saturday, March 5 Cleveland Cavaliers Affiliate Night

Friday, March 25 ZOOperstars!

Saturday, April 2 "Clutch" Bobblehead Giveaway courtesy of Erie Federal Credit Union

The team will also host four Buck Nights (every Thursday home game), two Faith & Family Nights, an Armed Forces Night and a First Responders Night. Additionally, the Tullio Arena will play host to five high school games this season, highlighted by two boys varsity matchups on February 12. Corry plays McDowell followed by Saegertown vs. Cambridge Springs, and the BayHawks play the New Mexico Thunderbirds in the nightcap. The annual School Kids Jam game is slated for March 8 at 11 am.

In May the team also lowered ticket prices on 3,000 seats available every game. Main Level seats are now just $10, reduced from $14. The combination of a stellar promotions schedule and greater affordability has the organization poised for their most successful season yet.

"We can't wait to get the season started," said team president Matt Bresee. "The combination of an expanded promotions schedule along with greater affordability and phenomenal basketball entertainment gives fans something to look forward to every night."

The BayHawks finish training camp on Wednesday and tip-off the season with back-to-back games this Friday and Saturday versus the Springfield Armor at 7pm, marking the first time in franchise history that Erie opens the season at home.

Tickets still remain for opening weekend and can be purchased at the Tullio Arena box office or at ticketmaster.com.
