Ryan Keller Named B-Sens Captain for the 2010-11 Season

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that forward Ryan Keller has been named captain for the 2010-11 season.

Keller, 26, appeared in 72 games for the B-Sens during the 2009-10 season registering 68 points (34 goals, 34 assists).

The Saskatoon, Sask. native was also named to the Canadian all-star team for the 2010 Time Warner Cable AHL All-Star Classic on Jan. 18 and 19 in Portland, Maine. He recorded two goals for the Canadian all-stars as they defeated PlanetUSA 10-9.

Additionally, forward Cody Bass and defenseman Derek Smith will be alternate captains for all B-Sens home games. Defenseman Andre Benoit and forward Corey Locke will be alternate captains for all B-Sens road games.

The B-Sens open the regular season at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena tonight at 7:05 p.m. against the Adirondack Phantoms. Tickets are $17.75 for side seating, $16.75 for end seating.
