Dayton Gems News Release
Dayton, OH-The Dayton Gems Ownership Group, proud member of the Central Hockey League announced today that due to the fact the jersey poll ended in a tie in terms of percentages (38% for sets one and two), they will take the Home Jersey from set one and the Road Jersey from set number two.
The home jersey (white, see attached) from set one features a circular design in the middle with the logo and the words Dayton Gems on the top and bottom of the circle, with horizontal stripes on the bottom and sides of the jersey.
The road jersey (black, see attached) will feature a classic diagonal look with the word DAYTON on the front and an image of a gem replacing the letter O (this jersey also includes horizontal striping on the bottom and sides).
""I want to thank all of those who participated in the Jersey Poll. We had a great turnout in participation, and since the poll ended in a tie, the only fair thing to do is take one from each set," said Gems President Rob Garfield. "The ownership group will be conducting Web-Site Polls throughout the season, so the fans can continue to voice their opinions on what they want to see."
