Stockton Thunder News Release

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder, a two-time recipient of the ECHL "Award of Excellence," announced Tim Harrington was named grand prize winner of the Thunder's "How All Out Are You" contest, which awarded fans for the most creative expression of Thunder loyalty through online video, photo and written submissions.

Harrington received a V.I.P. experience for a night at an upcoming Thunder home game in the 2010-11 season, topped off by a luxury suite and pizza party accommodations at Stockton Arena for his video submitted through YouTube, documenting his hockey experience as a loyal Thunder season ticket holder at home games and several road trips with fellow fans at Thunder road games in Bakersfield, Las Vegas and Idaho.

"Thunder fans have proven once again that they are as loyal as they come," said Thunder vice president of marketing Marlena Aranda. "Our entire organization was thrilled and flattered by number and quality of the contest submissions. It was tough for our judges to choose just four submissions to recognize, but Mr. Harrington and the rest of our winners were able to demonstrate an unsurpassed dedication to the Thunder."

"I'm very excited as loyal Thunder fan for an honor like this," said Harrington. "When we put the video together, we didn't expect to win, but it's awesome to win. In creating the video, it only took me awhile to put together, but going on the road trips and taking photos was awesome. We're looking forward to making even more road trips this next year and have already begun to book our travel!"

Deanna Duncan was the recipient of the first prize award, which included six tickets for a Thunder home game in 2010-11 special "on-the-bench" access to view pre-game warm-ups before the game and an invitation to drop the ceremonial puck before the game's opening faceoff.

Aurelio Munroz was named second prize award winner and received six tickets to a Thunder home game in 2010-11 and a private, "meet-and-greet" with a Thunder player of his choice before the game.

Hannah Mack, the winner of the third prize, receives an authentic game-worn Thunder jersey from the 09-10 season.

Vanessa Krebbs was the recipient of the participation prize award and will also receive a game-worn jersey from the 09-10 season.

All winning submissions can be viewed on the Thunder website by visiting www.StocktonThunder.com.

Winners were determined in a voting by a panel of judges on originality, dedication and effort, consisting of a handful of Thunder and city of Stockton dignitaries, including:

* Dawn Rowbotham (Thunder executive assistant)

* Susan Eggman (Stockton City Council)

* Doug Wilhoit (CEO, Stockton Chamber of Commerce)
