Elmira's Levine Receives Media Relations Award of Excellence

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced that Eric Levine of the Elmira Jackals is the 2009-10 recipient of the Award of Excellence for Media Relations as determined in voting by members of the media, league media relations directors and broadcasters.

Levine recently completed his first season as Director of Broadcasting/Sales Executive for the Jackals. The University of Wisconsin-Madison graduate broadcast hockey for three seasons for 91.7 WSUM-FM as well as the 2009 NCAA Women's Frozen Four in Boston for Clear Channel Madison. He was the recipient of the student award for "Best Sports Play-By-Play" from the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association in 2009 and during his tenure as the sports director for WSUM-FM, Levine established a dedicated online sports web stream.
