Calgary, AB - Brooks Macek and the Tri-City Americans welcome Joel Broda and the Calgary Hitmen for Game 3 of the 2010 WHL Championship on Tuesday night.

Tuesday's Husky WHL Eastern Conference Championship series battle between the Hitmen and Americans can be seen LIVE throughout western Canada on SHAW and SHAW Direct channel 299 (7:00pm PT), and tape delayed on FSN Northwest (10:30pm PT).

The Hitmen hold a 2-0 lead over the Americans in the best-of-seven series, having won by scores of 7-0 and 4-1 in Games 1 and 2, respectively, in Calgary on the weekend. Calgary owns a 6-2 record on the road in the 2010 WHL playoffs, and has won four straight games on enemy ice. Broda leads all WHL players with 13 post-season goals.

The Americans find themselves in an 0-2 hole in the series after being outscored 11-1 through the opening two games of the series, and will look to get back into the series with a win at home in Game 3. The Ams owned a Western Conference-best 27-9 record on home ice during the regular season, and are 6-3 at home during the playoffs. Macek is tied for third on the Ams in playoff scoring with 17 points, but has been held off the score sheet through the first two games of the 2010 WHL Championship series.

The Americans will host the Hitmen for Game 4 of the best-of-seven series on Wednesday night in Kennewick, WA.

The winner of the 2010 WHL Championship series will hoist the Ed Chynoweth Cup and join the Brandon Wheat Kings as well as the OHL and QMJHL Champions in the 2010 MasterCard Memorial Cup tournament later in May.
