Mudbugs Vs. Rush: Game 4 Tomorrow Night At The CTC

RAPID CITY, SD - The Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs will continue their run through the 2010 CHL Ray Miron President's Cup Playoffs tomorrow night in Game 4 of the Northern Conference Finals against Rapid City at 7:05 pm. The 'Bugs are looking to even the series at two games apiece after the Rush won Game 3 last night in overtime to take a 2-1 series lead.
Season ticket holders are reminded to use their tickets marked "Home Game D" for tomorrow night's contest.

The Mudbugs and Rush played Game 3 of the best-of-seven series last night, with the winner set to take a 2-1 lead after the teams split the first two games in Rapid City. In a back-and-forth affair, the teams played each other to a draw after 60 minutes and needed overtime to determine a winner for the second time in the series. Amateur defenseman Corey Laurysen then made the big play for the Rush in OT, scoring on a long screened shot to give the visitors a 3-2 victory.
The winner of this Northern Conference Final series will advance to play for the CHL Championship, taking on the Southern Conference Champion in the Ray Miron President's Cup Finals. As the #3 seed in the North, the Mudbugs are playing in their eighth conference finals against the top-seeded Rush, who are making their first-ever playoff appearance in just their second year of existence.
After Game 4 tomorrow night, the teams will be right back on the CenturyTel Center ice Saturday night for Game 5 of the series at 7:05. A Mudbugs win in either of the next two games will ensure a return trip to Rapid City next week for at least a Game 6 and possible a Game 7 as well.
