Indiana Ice News Release

INDIANAPOLIS - The first round of the 2010 USHL playoffs will sport a familiar look as the Indiana Ice will do battle with the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders beginning next Wednesday (4/7) in Cedar Rapids, IA.

The two East Division foes close out the regular season this weekend before meeting in the playoffs for the fourth time in the Ice's six seasons in the USHL. After eliminating Indy in

2004-05 and 2005-06, the Ice rebounded last season to win a thrilling five-game series which began their run to the Clark Cup Championship.

The three-seed Ice will travel to the two-seed RoughRiders for games one and two in Iowa on Wednesday (4/7) and Friday (4/9). Game three is Saturday (4/10) and will be played at the Indiana/World Skating Academy at Pan Am Plaza in downtown Indianapolis. (Pepsi Coliseum is not available in the first round due to the annual Hoosier Horse Fair & Expo).

Indiana won the season series this year with a 3-2-0 record and was led in scoring by the trio of Antti Roppo (3G, 2A), Bryon Paulazzo (2G, A) and Kevin Goumas (3A). Cab Morris posted all three wins in net to go along with a 1.73 GAA and a .947 save percentage.

Tickets for game three back in Indianapolis are on sale now by calling the Indiana Ice office at (317) 925-4423. Individual tickets start as low as $9 and playoff packages start as low as $14. For all the latest news on the Ice, visit www.indianaice.com .
