Chris McCray posted his second double-double of the season with 18 points and a season-high 13 assists to lead Sioux Falls. Greg Stiemsma notched 16 points, nine rebounds and broke the D-League single-season record for blocks, swatting five shots to bring him to 137 blocks through 38 games. Alexander Johnson contributed 17 points and six...Donell Taylor and Coby Karl shared Idaho team-high honors in points with 15 points each. Mildon Ambres added 14 points and seven rebounds off the bench.
Chad Toppert led the way for Albuquerque with 22 points. Trey Gilder scored 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds for the T-Birds in his first game against his former team Maine's Paul Davis led all scorers with 29 points. Morris Almond added 19 for the Red Claws.
Reserve forward Mark Tyndale scored 30 points while Phoenix Suns assignee Earl Clark notched 27 points, to go with 12 rebounds in his Iowa debut Dakota was led by Maurice Baker's 24 points.
HOUSTON'S JERMAINE TAYLOR RE-ASSIGNED TO RIO GRANDE VALLEY VIPERS
Houston Rockets guard Jermaine Taylor was assigned to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, the Rockets' NBA D-League affiliate. The assignment, which is Taylor's third of the 2009-10 season, is the 31st time an NBA player has been assigned to an NBA D-League affiliate this season. During his two previous assignments with the Vipers this season, Taylor appeared in six games and averaged 19.7 points and 4.2 rebounds. In 21 games for Houston this season, Taylor is averaging 2.9 points and 6.8 minutes.
ANDERSON RETURNING TO VIPERS
The Rio Grande Valley Vipers announced that they have re-acquired guard Antonio Anderson who earned a GATORADE Call-Up to the Oklahoma City Thunder on February 22. During two 10-day contracts with the Thunder, Anderson played in one game, scoring two points with one rebound in 15 minutes in a loss at Denver. A Western Conference All-Star selection, Anderson is averaging 15.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 5.9 assists (tenth in the NBA Development League) and 1.3 steals per game.
66ERS ACQUIRE GUARD WINK ADAMS
The Tulsa 66ers announced that the team has acquired free agent guard Wink Adams. The 6-0 guard played most recently in Turkey, where he averaged 11.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.8 steals in 18 games. Adams participated in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas in 2009 as a member of the New York Knicks.
ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS: A look at NBA D-League Alumni in last night's NBA games:
31 players with NBA D-League experience competed in 11 NBA games last night, seven as starters.
Houston's Aaron Brooks scored 31 points as a starter, in a 107-94 win over Memphis.
Starting for Golden State, Anthony Tolliver tallied 30 points and six rebounds. Teammate Chris Hunter added 17 points and eight rebounds.
