Miami, FL, March 11, 2010- Miami FC continues to gear up for the 2010 season, playing their second preseason match against the New York Red Bulls. Kick-off is set for 11:30am at Lockhart Stadium.
The Blues continue the second week of preseason playing the New York Red Bulls of the MLS. Miami defeated the FIU Golden Panthers last weekend at the FIU Soccer Stadium, 3-1. The Red Bulls, on the other hand, just won the Walt Disney World Soccer Classic when they defeated Toronto FC 4-0 with a hat trick from Colombian striker, Juan Pablo Angel.
"This is a great match up for our team, we have some good players in camp, but now we can see them against a very talented Red Bull team. We have 32 players in camp, good players, but playing a high caliber team like the Red Bulls will help us narrow down our options," said Head Coach, Victor Pastora.
The game was previously scheduled to be played at the Holiday Inn Sunrise Soccer Complex.
Miami FC will be tweeting live from the match. For real time updates you can follow Miami FC on twitter at www.twitter.com/miamifc.
Miami FC will open the 2010 season on Sunday, April 10th at 7:30PM at Lockhart Stadium against the visiting Rochester Rhinos.
