JOLIET, IL -The Joliet JackHammers are proud to introduce the newly formed "Crush Crew." The "Crew" will work to promote the JackHammers at local bars, restaurants, events, and games. It will be comprised of both men and women who love baseball and the JackHammers, in addition to the Front Office Staff. The Orange Crush open the 2010 season May 21 on the road against the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks.
Preliminary auditions for the new "Crush Crew" will be held Friday, March 12th at the Front Street Cantina (15120 S. Des Plaines St. in Plainfield) and Wednesday, March 17th at Tom Kelly's (Rt. 30 & I-80 in New Lenox) from 8-10 p.m. The final audition will be held Thursday, March 25th at McBrody's Bar & Grill (73 W. Jefferson St. in Joliet) from 8-10 p.m.
"The JackHammers are excited to introduce the 'Crush Crew' for the 2010 season," said Sean Keegan, Director of Promotions and Community Relations. "We are searching for people with big personalities who like to have a great time and love baseball."
Specifically, the JackHammers are seeking outgoing males and females who are over the age of 21. All those planning to audition should be available on Thursday nights from April through September. In addition to being paid for appearances made, those selected will get to meet the JackHammers players and coaches, receive discounts on merchandise, and much, much more!
