LAST WEEK AT THE RINK: The Ice went 2-1-0 last week with a home victory over Youngstown and a weekend split with the Force in Fargo, ND.

2/17/10 vs. YNG- The Ice erupted for 11 unanswered goals in route to the 11-1 blowout win....Anthony Bitetto posted five points, while Nic Dowd and Kevin Goumas had four-point nights of their own.

2/21 at FAR- The Force rebounded to defeat the Ice 6-2 on Sunday afternoon...Nic Dowd and Blake Coleman had markers for Indy, while Taylor Boldt handed out two assists.

RECORDING STUDIO: The Ice's 11-goal outburst against Youngstown last Wednesday was a franchise-best for most goals in a game eclipsing the previous record of nine set on a couple of occasions. In addition, for the second time in two weeks, defenseman Anthony Bitetto tied his own and the Ice record for most points in a game with five points (G, 4A) in the rout.

GOALS ARE US: More Indiana Ice records were set or equaled in last week's three-game set of games. With multi-goal nights on Wednesday and Saturday, Antti Roppo became the franchise leader for multiple goal games (8), breaking the mark set last year by Mike Cichy-North Dakota. With goals on Wednesday and Saturday, Max Cook tied the franchise mark for longest goal streak as the second-year Iceman potted goals in six straight games. The record was previously set in 2007-08 by Paul Carey-Boston College.

STREAKERS: With the loss Sunday in Fargo, the Ice had a season-best six-game win streak snapped. Indiana put together some impressive numbers during the winning stretch as the team outscored their opponents 36-12 in the six wins and had impressive power play (35.5%) and penalty killing (88.0%) clips. Despite the conclusion of one streak, Indy is still riding a six-game home winning streak.

PTH HISTORY: The Ice is 2-3-0 in their first five seasons in the USHL on "Pack the House Night" and 5-4-3 in the 12 all-time games played at Conseco Fieldhouse.

MORE LAUDINGS: Kevin Goumas is riding a five-game assist streak (9A)....David Johnstone has six points (2G, 4A) in his last three games...Nic Dowd has five points (4G, A) in his last three contests....Blake Coleman (2G, A) and Taylor Boldt (3A) have points in their last two games.
