
Temple Signs Second 10-Day Contract With Rockets

MCALLEN, TEXAS - The NBA Development League Rio Grande Valley Vipers announced today that guard Garrett Temple (6-5, 180, LSU), the fifth GATORADE Call-Up in franchise history, and the third this season, signed a second 10-day contract with the Houston Rockets today.
Temple earned his first 10-day contract on February 8 and is averaging 6.0 points and 2.3 rebounds in 16.3 minutes over the course of three games with the Rockets.
An All-NBA Development League Showcase honorable mention selection, Temple averaged 14.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.4 steals in 34.9 minutes over the course of 30 games and starts for the Vipers. He shot 42.7% from the field, 37.2% from behind the arc and 80.4% from the free throw line.
