JR GIDDENS RECALLED FROM MAINE RED CLAWS

The Boston Celtics announced that guard J.R. Giddens has been recalled from the Maine Red Claws of the NBA Development League. Giddens appeared in four games for the Red Claws and posted averages of 18.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.0 steal in 31.8 minutes per game.

ERIE PICKS UP SNOW

The Erie BayHawks have added point guard Tychicus "Tic" Snow, from Mississippi Valley State to the team's roster. While with the Delta Devils, Snow averaged 8 points and 2.6 assists per game. Snow is expected to fill in for the point guards Cedric Jackson, currently on a Gatorade Call-Up to the Cleveland Cavaliers and Cliff Clinkscales who was injured Wednesday night in a game versus the Springfield Armor.

STAMPEDE ADD LANCE HURDLE TO ROSTER

The Idaho Stampede announced the acquisition of guard Lance Hurdle. Hurdle (6-11, 185) spent the beginning of this season with the Bakersfield Jam. In twelve games with the Jam he averaged 5.7 points, 1.1 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game.

Dwayne Jones added his 20th double-double of the season with 24 points and 17 rebounds for the Toros. Malik Hairston (30), Alonzo Gee (21), Eddie Basden (10), and Roderick Riley (10) scored in double figures as Austin increased their win streak to six.

Michael Fey led the D-Fenders with 25 points and 14 rebounds. Five other D-Fenders scored in double figures: Joe Crawford (22), Ryan Forehan-Kelly (19), Dar Tucker (12), Diamon Simpson (12), and Horace Wormely (10).

Bakersfield ended the game with six players scoring in double figures including a game high 28 from Blake Ahearn. Will Daniels and Brian Butch added 23 apiece, Reece Gaines 18, Keith Brumbaugh with 15, and Rodney Webb with 12.

The Stampede's Roberto Bergersen finished the game with a season high 26 points. Donell Taylor finished with 27, Midon Ambres with 20, Emmanuel Jones with 13, and Lance Allred with his second double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Vipers' Mike Harris recorded his ninth double-double of the season with 25 points and 18 rebounds to go with three assists and three steals. Craig Winder scored 17 points with a season-high five assists and a career high-tying three blocked shots. Garrett Temple also chipped in with 18 points and Jermaine Taylor finished with 14 points in his Vipers debut.

The Skyforce were led by Reggie Williams, who scored 29 points to go with eight rebounds. Alexander Johnson recorded a double-double with 21 points and 14 rebounds. Chris McCray finished with 14 points.

Trey Gilder scored a game-high 22 points for the Red Claws and Tony Bobbitt sparked the team by scoring nine of his 13 points over the final seven and half minutes of regulation.

Mike Gansey and Ivan Harris led the Bay Hawks in the scoring column, both ending the game with 21 points. John Bryant scored 12 points and pulled down a game-high 16 rebounds.

Chris Richard finished with 16 points and a game-high 11 rebounds, while Mustafa Shakur had 18 points and 10 boards, to go along with eight assists for Tulsa.

Curtis Stinson was the high scorer for Iowa with 18. Othyus Jeffers added 14.
