New Britain Rock Cats News Release
The New Britain Rock Cats' Foundation would like to give a Special Thanks to all of the individuals and groups who attended the Hot Stove Luncheon on Friday the 22nd. The Rock Cats' Foundation is proud to say that we raised thousands of dollars to help benefit the organization. We greatly appreciate your ongoing support for the Rock Cats' Foundation and giving back to the community. The Foundation will very much benefit from the proceeds by providing the best and most outstanding social, educational, and scholarship oppurtunities to the youth in the surrounding communities.
Events such as this year's FanFest, which will take place in March, allow the Rock Cats' Foundation to continuously give back to the community, especially to those families in need! This family event helps local families receive food items by having fans bring in non-perishable food to help end hunger. More information about the Rock Cats' FanFest will follow in the next few weeks! Thanks again to those who attended the Rock Cats' Foundation 9th Annual Hot Stove Luncheon. We hope you had a wonderful time as we kicked off the 2010 baseball season with a GRAND SLAM!
