PHILADELPHIA, PA - The Colorado Mammoth (2-2) finished their weekend road trip in Philadelphia with a 12-11 OT win against the Wings (1-2). Matt Giles (3G, 2A) and Drew Westervelt (2G, 3A) led the way for Philadelphia in the loss.

A tandem of brothers had four points each as Alex (3G, 1A) and Ilija Gajic (2G, 2A) led the Mammoth in their second road win in back to back nights after they took care of the Minnesota Swarm 15-14 on Friday night.

The Wings took their first lead of the game in the fourth quarter as Drew Westervelt tallied his fourth point of the game with a lazar over the right shoulder of Mammoth Goalie Andrew Leyson. Westervelt would pick up his final point of the game on an assist to Bill McGlone (2G, 1A), as the Wings went up by two with four minutes to go in regulation.

The Mammoth would get two goals in the final three minutes of regulation highlighted by a Jamie Shewchuks short handed goal that forced OT. Leyson (40 saves) picked up a crucial penalty on the Wings McGlone that led to Alex Gajic game winning power play goal 2:19 in overtime.
