Beckerman, Findley and Rimando Look to Wrap Up U.S. MNT Camp with "Caps" against Honduras

The third and final week of the U.S. Men's National Team's January training camp has started at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif., which means the Real Salt Lake trio of MF Kyle Beckerman, FW Robbie Findley, and GK Nick Rimando will be itching to don the Red, White & Blue when the camp culminates with a friendly this Saturday, Jan. 23 against fellow CONCACAF side and World Cup Final qualifier Honduras. Kickoff from The Home Depot Center is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. MT, with the contest airing live on Fox Soccer Channel and Galavision. Real Salt Lake Adds Four Players via 2010 MLS SuperDraft, Trades M/F Clint Mathis to LA Galaxy

Real Salt Lake had a busier day than many expected during last Thursday's 2010 MLS SuperDraft in Philadelphia, as the defending MLS Cup champion made a pair of trades with last November's Cup combatant, the Los Angeles Galaxy, that resulted in the Utah side sending M/F Clint Mathis to the Galaxy, picking up a third round selection in this year's draft, and swapping third-rounders with the Southern California side for the 2011 edition of the draft.

After moving up one spot in the first round via the first trade of the day with the Galaxy, Real Salt Lake selected with the 15th overall pick one of the standout performers at the adidas Player Combine leading into the draft in Collen Warner, a two-way midfielder out of the University of Portland. RSL would go defensive from there on out, choosing versatile left-footed defender Justin Davis out of the University of New Mexico in the second round (#32), towering Creighton University center-back Chris Schuler with its newfound third round pick (#39), and Denver University center-back Kris Banghart with the last selection of the draft in the fourth round (#64).

Real Salt Lake Team Store Extends its Half-off Sale through this Saturday

The Real Salt Lake Team Store at Rio Tinto Stadium decided that its Half-off Sale over the Martin Luther King Day weekend was going too good to last only three days, so fans are encouraged to come in and take advantage of the fantastic offer through the close of business this Saturday, Jan. 23.

Real Salt Lake to Host Xbox 360 FIFA 10 Tournament February 6

So you've been dominating all of your friends at FIFA 10 for Xbox 360 for months now, but all you've got to show for it is bragging rights. Well that's about to change, as Real Salt Lake invites gamers ages 12+ to participate in the team's first annual Xbox 360 FIFA 10 Tournament, to be held at the Budweiser Club Real at Rio Tinto Stadium on Saturday, February 6, from 11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. MT.

For the $30 entry fee, participants will receive complimentary food and beverages (non-alcoholic) during the tournament, a North Goal section ticket to Real Salt Lake's 2010 home opener against Seattle on April 10, the chance to purchase additional tickets to the home opener at a discounted price, and a free T-shirt from Play N Trade.
