Sounds Announce Sales Staff Additions

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Nashville Sounds Baseball Club today announced the addition of two members to their front office sales staff.

Darren Feller and Mike Gregory have joined the club as Senior Corporate Account Executives. Their responsibilities include selling tickets and sponsorships as well as coordinating corporate events and private functions at Greer Stadium.

"Darren and Mike bring an exciting combination of experience and energy to our sales team," said Brad Tammen, the Sounds' Vice President of Sales & Marketing. "We are thrilled to add both of them, and they are already hard at work in fostering new and renewed relationships in the business community."

Prior to moving to Nashville, Feller most recently served as General Manager of the Springfield (Ill.) Sliders of the Prospect League, where he oversaw all aspects of the team's day-to-day operations.

His previous career experience includes stints as an Account Executive with the Madison Mallards, Group Sales Manager for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, Director of Promotions for the Salt Lake Bees in, and Director of Sales & Development for the Wisconsin Sports Development Corporation.

Originally from Oregon, Wisconsin, Feller received an undergraduate degree from Edgewood College, where he played collegiate baseball, and his Master's in Sport Administration from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse.

Gregory previously worked for the Nashville Sports Council and Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl, where he served as the Vice President of Events. His responsibilities included the recruitment and management of all Sports Council owned and affiliated events and Bowl events, as well as the development of NSC membership events, the recruitment and retention of sponsors for the Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl, and overseeing corporate communications for the company.

The Nashville native is a graduate of the University of Tennessee. During his undergraduate education, Gregory assisted the Volunteer Athletics Department in several areas including Marketing, Development, and Sports Information during his time in Knoxville. He also served as the Assistant Director of Media Relations for the Tennessee Smokies Southern League Baseball Club and later completed a media relations internship with the Houston Astros.
