2009-10 NBA D-LEAGUE SHOWCASE TIPS OFF JANUARY 4
The 2009-10 NBA D-League Showacse returns to Boise's Qwest Arena, home of the Idaho Stampede for 16 NBA D-League games between Jan. 4 and Jan. 7. All 16 NBA D-League teams will converge in Boise to play in front of team personnel from every NBA team.
STAMPEDE ADD YEMI OGUNOYE TO ROSTER
The Idaho Stampede announced the acquisition of forward Yemi Ogunoye. Ogunoye (6-9, 210) spent the 2008-09 season and this season with the Tulsa 66ers in the NBA Development League. In 49 games last season, Ogunye averaged 6.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game.
The Cedar Hill, TX native spent graduated from Oral Roberts University where he averaged 3.1 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game during his senior season.
Ogunoye will wear number 21 and will be in uniform this Saturday, Dec. 26th when the Stampede take on division foe Utah Flash at home
WINDER RETURNS FOR THIRD SEASON WITH VIPERS
The NBA Development League Rio Grande Valley Vipers announced that they have acquired guard Craig Winder, who played for the team during their first two seasons. Winder (6-2, 190) takes the roster spot of Mike Harris, who earned a GATORADE Call-Up to the Houston Rockets yesterday.
In 88 career games (nine starts) with the Vipers, the University of Texas alumnus is averaging 8.4 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game. Last season, Winder averaged 8.9 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 46 games (six starts).
