JOLIET, IL - The JackHammers are pleased to announce that Block Wednesday is still on however, the location has changed. Due to the forecasted weather, the party has been moved indoors - instead of the street party it will be a "Good Old Office Party"! It still starts at 3:00 and runs until 7:00, there will be music, drinks - hot and cold, turkey legs and hot dogs. All outdoor activities have been cancelled, but we are sure to find someway to have some fun inside. Maybe it's a few card games or indoor bags. We are a creative bunch of people so we will figure something out!Remember, this is an event to support the Northern Illinois Food Bank so please bring canned or packaged food items for those who really need them. Everyone who donates food items will receive a voucher good for any home game during the 2010 season.
It is also the Grand Opening of the new state of the art Pro Shop on Wednesday, November 25th, 2009. The new Pro Shop will be within the Administrative Office doors for the 2009 Holiday Season. Make sure you stop on by to get your JackHammer gear for the upcoming season.
The new state of the art Pro Shop includes illuminating flood lights that will showcase all JackHammer gear that a fan will need. In addition, a 47 inch high definition white board will attract your immediate attention as you step in the Pro Shop.
As this will be the Grand Opening, we will have a special deal for all our customers. Present this Press Release to the JackHammer personnel and receive a 50% discount upon your purchase.
