(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Knighthawks, in conjunction with the Knighthawks Krew, announced today that the Krew will be hosting the annual "Welcome to Rochester" Meet the Knighthawks Party on Saturday, November 28that 7:30 p.m. at the Stock Exchange Restaurant in the First Federal Plaza. This will be the seventh consecutive year that the Knighthawks Krew has upheld this tradition of welcoming the Rochester Knighthawks players, coaches and staff back to Rochester.Fans can also meet the players on Saturday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. during Training Camp at Total Sports Experience in Gates. The second session is on Sunday, November 29th from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. The Knighthawks open their 16 th season on Saturday, January 9th against the Buffalo Bandits. The game is set for an 8:05 p.m. start at The Blue Cross Arena.
This year's event will be highlighted with appearances by the Rochester Knighthawks players, coaches and members of the Rochester Knightingales Dance Team. The Knighthawks Krew will be raffling off a team autographed lacrosse stick to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. The lacrosse stick was generously donated by Metro Sport Brokers in Webster. Fans in attendance will receive food and drink specials and be able to buy tickets to the Buffalo and Toronto road trips coming up in January 2010.
The Knighthawks Krew, the official fan club of the Rochester Knighthawks, will be celebrating their 14th anniversary in 2010. The Knighthawks Krew has members in 9 countries around the World and 15 states in the U.S.
