Gibson's Finest CFL Players of the Week Named

Toronto, ON - (November 24, 2009) - Anthony Calvillo, Renauld Williams, Andy Fantuz and Ryan Grice-Mullen were named the Gibson's Finest CFL Players of the Week for the week of the Division Finals, the Canadian Football League announced today.
The four players were chosen by a panel of judges that includes former Canadian Football League players Matt Dunigan and Duane Forde, now ofTSN, and Pierre Vercheval of RDS.
Gibson's Finest CFL OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
QB - Anthony Calvillo - Montreal Alouettes

Highlights / Key Stats:
Anthony Calvillo was at his best in the Alouettes dominating Eastern Final victory over the BC Lions on Sunday. Calvillo matched a CFL playoffs record by throwing for five touchdowns in the Alouettes 56-18 win. The Eastern nominee for Most Outstanding Player finished the game 19 of 28 for 312 yards and five touchdowns with only one interception.
Calvillo threw two touchdown passes each to Jamel Richardson and Brian Bratton while Kerry Watkins had the other. The 56 points scored by the Alouettes were the most in franchise playoff history.

LB - Renauld Williams - Saskatchewan Roughriders

Highlights / Key Stats:
Linebacker Renauld Williams had a career day to lead the Rider defence in the team's Western Final win over the Calgary Stampeders. Williams racked up a game high 10 tackles including three sacks in the victory.
Williams' three sacks were a career high and matched his sack output for the entire regular season. After the Stampeders jumped out to a 10 point lead early in the second quarter the Rider defence held the Stamps to just one point until late in the fourth quarter when the game was well in hand.

Gibson's Finest CFL SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
KR/WR - Ryan Grice-Mullen - BC Lions
BC Lions 18 @Montreal Alouettes 56
Highlights / Key Stats:
Lions return man Ryan Grice-Mullen did his best to keep BC in the game against the Montreal Alouettes in Sunday's Eastern Final. Grice-Mullen returned a punt early in the second half 106-yards for a touchdown to cut in to the Alouettes lead. It was the longest punt return touchdown in CFL playoffs history.
Grice-Mullen finished the game with 208 total return yards including 104 yards on six kick returns and 104 yards on two punt returns. Grice-Mullen also had three receptions for 45 yards in the game.

SB - Andy Fantuz -Saskatchewan Roughriders
Calgary Stampeders 17 @Saskatchewan Roughriders 27
Highlights / Key Stats:
Andy Fantuz was excellent for the Riders in their 27-17 victory over the Stampeders in the Western Final on Sunday. Fantuz had a game high 89 yards on five receptions including one touchdown in the win.
Fantuz scored on a nine-yard pass from Darian Durant early in the third quarter to give the Riders their first lead of the game, a lead they would never relinquish. Fantuz also had a 39-yard reception in the fourth quarter to help set up a Luca Congi field goal and extend the Riders lead.
