Miners Launch New Website

MARION, Ill. - The Southern Illinois Miners are excited to announce today's launch of the team's newly redesigned website. The new www.southernillinoisminers.com features more user friendly content including an interactive calendar, front page news items and an expanded multimedia section.
The website was designed by Arthur Agency, the same Carbondale marketing firm that designed the Miners logo and previous website.
"Our goal is to give our fans the best possible on-line experience," Miners General Manager Tim Arseneau said. "The new site goes hand-in-hand with our Facebook, MySpace, YouTube and Twitter initiatives. The new site will give our fans even more opportunities to interact with their team."
The new website will provide fans their first chance to purchase tickets for the upcoming 2010 season when the Miners Holiday Ticket Packs go on sale starting the day after Thanksgiving, Friday, Nov. 27. Ticket Packs and 2010 Frontier League All-Star Merchandise will also be available at the Rent One Park General Store.
