GRAND CHUTE, WI - Baseball America's most recent issue has their list of Top 10 prospects in the Milwaukee Brewers organization.The list includes two Wisconsin Timber Rattlers from the 2009 team and four players who may be playing in a Rattlers uniform next season.
The two Rattlers from the 2009 team to make the list are Brett Lawrie and Lorenzo Cain.
Lawrie, an all-star second baseman for Wisconsin, is slated at #2 on the list behind only shortstop Alcides Escobar.
Outfielder Lorenzo Cain, who spent a brief rehabilitation stint with the Rattlers, is ranked at #8.
The four players on the list who are potential Timber Rattlers in 2010 are pitcher Eric Arnett, outfielder Kentrail Davis, pitcher Jake Odorizzi, and pitcher Kyle Heckathorn.
Arnett, Davis, and Heckathorn were the top three picks by Milwaukee in the 2009 draft.
Odorizzi was a supplemental first round pick in the 2008 draft.
