JOLIET, IL - The Joliet JackHammers have announced the "JackHammers Hoe-Down Halloween" event to take place at Silver Cross Field on Wednesday, October 28th from 6-9 pm. There will be games, trick-or-treating, a costume and coloring contest, a movie on the big screen and more! The event is FREE to the public!
The gates to Silver Cross Field will open at 6:00 pm. Trail dogs, sasparilla's, cold suds and hot cocoa will be available for purchase. There will be a whole line-up of events taking place through out the evening: Trick-or-Treating from 6-7:30, Scavenger Hunt from 6-7, Pumpkin Coloring from 6-9, Pre-Carved Pumpkin Contest at 8, Costume Contest at 8:00, and the movie on the big screen will begin at 7. There will also be other games and crafts starting at 7:30.
"Halloween at the ballpark is always FUN," states EVP/General Manager Jamie Toole. "It gives our fans a great opportunity to come out and have some fun at the ballpark before the really cold weather sets in. And, who knows maybe our mystery woman that's been sighted here at the park will make an appearance. It sure would be nice to figure out who she is!"
