Joliet JackHammers News Release
JOLIET, IL - Jammer, the Joliet JackHammers mascot, never puts the Herald News down. Now with its fresh new format, it's easier for him to read!
"In between being out in the community and taking well deserved naps, Jammer's reading!" says Kelli Drechsel, Marketing & Community Relations Coordinator for the Joliet JackHammers. "The first thing he does in the morning is read The Herald News," she says. "He always goes to the sports section first, then right to all the community events."
When asked why he likes the new Herald News format, Jammer said, "....". Drechsel replied, "What he's trying to say is he's kind of a big guy and for him, it's like reading a big book!"
LOOSE GRAVEL: The JackHammers will be hosting a "Halloween Ho Down" at Silver Cross Field on Wednesday, October 28 from 6-9pm. Families are invited out to the park to enjoy a scavenger hunt, photo booth, and much more as the entire JackHammer staff will be dressed up in Old West attire.
Joliet JackHammers Season Tickets are on sale now. To secure your Season Seats at Silver Cross Field and take advantage of Early Bird pricing, contact the JackHammers Ticket Department at 815.726.BALL (2255).
