Nashville Sounds News Release

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Nashville Sounds released their 2010 home schedule dates today featuring 72 games at historic Greer Stadium during their 33rd season of competition.

After starting the 2010 campaign with a road trip, the Sounds will begin their home slate when they take the field on Friday, April 16th against the division-rival Iowa Cubs to open an eight-game homestand.

The 2010 home schedule includes ten homestands and 34 weekend dates (Fri.-Sun.) during what is sure to be another summer at the ballpark filled with affordable family fun.

The Sounds are proud to continue to be the best and most affordable sports and entertainment ticket in Music City.

Individual ticket prices for the upcoming season will be $14 for reserved seats and $10 for general admission seats for gameday ticket purchases ($12/$8 when bought at least 24 hours in advance), a marginal increase of $2.00. Individual game tickets will be available for purchase next spring.

Season ticket plans are currently available for $600 per seat, which breaks down to just $8.33 per game - a savings of $5.67 over day of game pricing.

General parking in Greer Stadium's lots will cost $3 per game in 2010. Season ticket holders will continue to be able to purchase premium season-long parking passes for $200 for a reserved section of the parking lot convenient to the main entrance. As an additional, exclusive offering to our season ticket holders, general parking passes - good for either lot - are also available for just $100 for the season or just $1.39 per game - a savings of $1.61 over day of game parking.

Contact the Sounds box office at 615-690-HITS (4487) or visit the team's website at www.nashvillesounds.com to order or for further details.

The 2010 season will be the Sounds' 13th year in the Pacific Coast League and their sixth as the Milwaukee Brewers' top affiliate.

The Pacific Coast League continues its use of an unbalanced 144-game schedule format in 2010. The Sounds will play 16 games (eight home, eight away) against teams in their own conference. Nashville will host each of the four Pacific Conference Northern Division teams - Colorado Springs, Portland, Salt Lake, and Tacoma - in four-game series at Greer Stadium. The Sounds will travel to each of the four Pacific Southern clubs - Fresno, Las Vegas, Reno, and Sacramento - for four-game sets.

Home game times, the 2010 promotional schedule, and all road game dates and times will be released at a later date.
