Traffic Sports strengthens U.S. player development initiative by signing Gale Agbossoumonde

Miami, August 6, 2009 - Traffic Sports USA, through its local professional team, Miami FC, announced today that it has come to terms on a 3 ½-year contract with teenage central defender Gale Agbossoumonde. Gale (pronounced gah-LEH) has been a stalwart for a number of U.S. Youth National Teams during his young career and, although not even eighteen yet, has been a starter with the U.S. Under-20 National Team which currently is getting ready for this year's World Championships in Egypt. Gale stands at 6 feet and 2 inches tall, and weighs 185 pounds.

Traffic Sports' highlight signing from last year, current U.S. U-18 National Team player Gregory Garza continues to get ready for his second season with Sporting Lisbon, in Portugal. Gregory, who recently took part in Northern Ireland's Milk Cup with the U.S. Under-18 National Team, continues to impress coaches and scouts at Sporting with his talent and work ethic.

"We are very excited to add another quality young player to our U.S. player development initiative. Gale is an extremely talented player with a lot of upside. Our goal at Traffic Sports is to offer him all the conditions to help in his development as a professional soccer player and person. He is a very well-mannered young man and we are absolutely thrilled with his decision to sign with us," commented Fernando Clavijo, Traffic Sports' Director of Soccer. "With our state-of-the-art training center and academy in Brazil, plus our international network of clubs in Europe and the Americas, we will be able to establish a plan that will benefit the player's development and insertion into the ranks of professional soccer."
