Rochester Americans News Release

Jason Garrison completed his first season of pro hockey as the Rochester Americans' top scoring defenseman. He scored eight goals and assisted on 27 others for 35 points in 75 games, which was good for fourth overall on the team. His 35 points were also 17th among American Hockey League defensemen. The former Minnesota-Duluth standout also made his National Hockey League debut with the Florida Panthers this past season, logging just under 12 minutes in his first NHL game against the St. Louis Blues. Amerks.com caught up with the White Rock, British Columbia, native to see how his first season in Rochester treated him and what he might be up to this summer.
