Bucks Look For 3-0 Lead, To "Pack The House for Charity"

LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks will look to take a commanding 3-0 series lead Wednesday night when they host the Odessa Jackalopes in game three of the Southern Conference Semi-Finals at the LEC.

Wednesday is the Bucks "Pack the House for Charity" game, where all Tickets in every section, with the exception of glass and club level seats will be available for a minimum $5 donation. All proceeds going to Sacred Heart Children's Home and South Texas Food Bank. The Bucks will also give out 2,500 Thunderstix before game three.

The $5 tickets were made possible by a generous donation by Laredo Energy and Border Lease Services.

The Bucks won the first two games of the series in Odessa to take a 2-0 lead entering Wednesday.

The Bucks have never lost a playoff series when they have had a two games to nothing lead. Nine times Laredo has taken a 2-0 lead and went on to win the series.

Laredo took game one 3-2 in overtime, before winning game two 5-1. Rookie of the year Darryl Smith had three goals and an assist in the first two games, while Sebastien Centomo and Andrew Martin combined to stop 75 of 78 Odessa shots thru the first two contests.

The Bucks special teams have been stellar thru the first two games, holding Odessa 0-for-13 on the power-play, while Laredo has gone three-for-10 with the man advantage.

Laredo has posted a 37-11 record at home in the playoffs.

*Smith To Be Presented Rookie of the Year Award Wednesday*

Darryl Smith will be presented the Rookie of the Year Award Wednesday night by CHL Commissioner Duane Lewis. Smith will be honored in a pre-game ceremony prior to game three.

At Game four on Friday April 3rd, every fan in attendance will receive a FREE HOT DOG! Also on April 3rd fans can take advantage of $1 Beer, as well as $1 soda all game long! 1,000 Cowbells will be handed out before the game.

*Ticket Prices Stay The Same Throughout Playoffs*

Walk up ticket prices will stay the same throughout every round of the 2009 Playoffs. In seasons past the ticket prices have increased round by round.

With the exception of Game Three (April 1), which will be $5, ticket prices start at $12.75.

The Laredo Bucks, in conjunction with Border Lease and Laredo Energy have announced that they will again "Pack The House For Charity" at the Bucks first home playoff game this season, April 1st against Odessa . All Tickets in every section, with the exception of glass and club level seats will be available for a minimum $5 donation, with all proceeds going to Sacred Heart Children's Home and South Texas Food Bank. The Bucks, along with Border Lease and Laredo Energy are looking to sell out the game, and have 8,002 fans at the Laredo Entertainment Center .

Tickets are ON SALE NOW by calling 718-BUCK (2825), or by going to the LEC box office. All walk up tickets on the day of the game will also be available for $5. This is the second year in a row that fans can receive a ticket for $5 to a playoff game with all the proceeds going to charity. Fans can donate more than $5 to the charities if they so choose

*Win A Vegas Weekend Or Carnival Cruise From The Bucks!*

The Bucks have announced that fans can win either a Las Vegas Weekend Getaway or a Carnival Cruise, if they purchase a Bucks playoff package.

The Las Vegas Weekend Getaway includes airfare and hotel reservations, courtesy of the Bucks, on dates agreed upon by the winners of the getaway and the Bucks.

The Carnival Cruise winner receives a FREE 4 night cruise leaving from the Port of Galveston, Texas, courtesy of the Bucks, on dates agreed upon by the winners of the cruise and the Bucks.

Winners of either the Las Vegas Weekend or Carnival Cruise may not take a cash equivalent and it is not transferable.

To be eligible to win one of the two great prizes, fans must buy their Bucks playoff package before the first home playoff game. Drawing will be held during the 1st intermission of the 1st playoff game.

*Credit for playoff games not played, will be applied to the 09-10 season ticket packages.

*Big Discounts At Bucks Team Store*

The Bucks will be offering big discounts at the team store starting March 18th when the Bucks host the Texas Brahmas. Season ticket holders get 30% off and non season ticket holders get 15% off (excluding items that are already on sale). The discounts will run throughout the Bucks playoff run.
