B-Sens Sign Marc Cavosie to Standard Player Contract

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators signed today center Marc Cavosie to an American Hockey League standard player contract.

Cavosie, 27, signed a 25-game professional tryout agreement with Binghamton on Nov. 18 and has recorded two goals, five assists, six penalty minutes and a -1 rating in 20 games. The Albany, N.Y., native began the season with the Albany River Rats and registered no goals, four assists and 10 penalty minutes in 11 games with the East Division squad.

Cavosie will skate in his 300th AHL game on Friday when Binghamton hosts Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. The center has 32 goals, 90 assists and 126 penalty minutes in his AHL career.

The B-Sens return to the ice on Friday, Jan. 9 for an East Division showdown with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at 7:05 p.m. Binghamton then hosts Rochester on Saturday, Jan. 10 in the Americans first visit of the season.
