LOWELL, Mass. - The Lowell Spinners, Class-A Affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, will spread holiday cheer when they unveil a series of modernized new logos at the Lowell Spinners Holiday Party, beginning at 6 p.m. Friday December 5 at Hookslide Kelly's in Downtown Lowell.

The Spinners front office staff will be on hand with the help of the World Famous Dogman and Canaligator to unveil the new logos, created by Single Source Promotions out of Danvers, Mass.

"We felt it was time to revitalize our primary logo and create greater symmetry with the Spinners name," said Spinners Vice President and General Manager Tim Bawmann. "We look forward to unveiling the logo at our holiday party as an early present to our fans."

Additionally, the event is scheduled to promote holiday cheer throughout the Lowell community. The first 100 fans to arrive after 6 p.m. will receive a Spinners Holiday Gift Bag. While each gift bag will include a gift, three of the bags will hold special prizes, including a new iPod, tickets to a 2009 Boston Red Sox game or a $50 Gift Certificate to Hookslide Kelly's.

If you are not one of the lucky fans to receive a prize through the gift bag, the Spinners will also be holding a raffle to benefit the Joann Weber Charitable Fund. Here fans will have the opportunity to win game used Spinners jerseys, Guitar Hero, another iPod, new logo merchandise and more!

Admission to the Lowell Spinners Holiday Party is free and fans are welcome to arrive throughout the evening. New logo hats and T-shirts will be available for purchase, as will other Spinners and Red Sox merchandise for the holiday season.

Gift bags will be distributed only to those fans arriving after the event begins at 6 p.m. and are limited to the first 100 fans.
