Hudson Valley Bears Prepare for Home Opener this Saturday Night in Newburgh

The Hudson Valley Bears (www.hudsonvalleybears.com) begin the week tied for second place in the Eastern Professional Hockey League with a record of one win and one loss. Following the Bears opening night 5-4 win at Danbury, Hudson Valley dropped a 6-4 decision to Danbury in Connecticut this past Saturday.

The Bears must play one more game on the road this coming Friday evening (14th) when they travel to Brooklyn, New York to face off against the first place Brooklyn Aces (two wins & one loss). Then Head Coach Scott Beneke and his Hudson Valley Six play their first home game of the season hosting the Jersey Rockhoppers (one win & one loss) this coming Saturday night (15th) at 8:00pm at the Ice Time Sports Complex, located at 21 Lakeside Road in Newburgh, New York.
