Harrisburg Stampede To Hold Press Conference Next Tuesday

HARRISBURG, Pennsylvania (September 15, 2008) - The AIFA's Harrisburg Stampede will hold a press conference next Tuesday, September 23rd, to introduce the team coaching staff for 2009. Player signings will also be announced, along with the team logo and colors
The press conference will be held at Strawberry Square Mall in downtown Harrisburg. The time of the event will be 4:30PM.
The Harrisburg expansion franchise has selected the name "Stampede" for the team, based on voting by the fans. The logo and team colors have been selected to showcase the "Stampede" theme for the team.
"We're grateful to the fans who really got into this," said Stampede co-owner John Morris. "Three names emerged as the favorites, and 'Stampede' won out.
"The response to the franchise has been fantastic," Morris said. "More than ever, I am convinced that this community is going to love AIFA football."
