National Indoor Bowl Date Changed
July 15, 2008 - United Indoor Football Association (UIF)
Sioux Falls Storm News Release
United Indoor Football (UIF) and the Intense Football League (IFL) announced late last week that the date for the National Indoor Bowl has been changed. The game will now take place on Saturday, August 2 at the Sioux Falls Arena. Sioux Falls won the right to host the game after the Storm won the UIF title on Saturday. The game will mark the first time ever that indoor leagues have come together to crown a national champion. The Storm will play the winner of the IFL title, which will be determined on Saturday, July 26.
The date needed to be changed because of a scheduling conflict in the IFL. The IFL was originally to have their champion determined on July 19, but made the decision to move their playoffs back a week to accommodate one of their playoff teams.
Tickets are available at the Sioux Falls Arena Box Office as well as ticketmaster.com and all TicketMaster outlets. Business or civic groups are encouraged to contact the Storm office to inquire about group discounts.
