SWB Yankees And Indianapolis Indians Rained Out

Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees News Release


Indianapolis, IN - Game three of the scheduled four game series between the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees and the Indianapolis Indians has been canceled due to inclement weather. The game will be made up as part of a double header on Monday, May 12th beginning at 6:00 PM.

RHP Ian Kennedy (1-0, 0.00 ERA) will get the start for the Yankees in game one of the double header with RHP Steven White (3-1, 2.68) getting the start in game two. The Indians will counter with a pair of right handers; Luis Munoz (2-0, 3.74) in the first game of the twin bill and Adam Bernero (0-0, 5.19) getting the start in the second game.

Both games will be carried live on The Game Sports Radio Network (1280 AM, 1340 AM, 1400 AM, & 1590 AM) beginning with the pre game show at 5:30 PM.

After wrapping up the series Monday night at Indianapolis, the Yankees will continue the eight game road trip with four game in Louisville, Kentucky against the Louisville Bats beginning with a 7:00 PM game on Tuesday night at Louisville Slugger Field. The Yankees return home to PNC Field on Saturday, May 17th opening an eight game home stand vs. the Pawtucket Red Sox and Indianapolis Indians.
