Huntsville Stars News Release

Huntsville Stars fans, today's baseball game(s) will be different.

The Stars will open the gates this morning at 10:00 and finish yesterday's suspended game at 11:00 am. The score is 9-9 in the top of the 9th inning, two men on for the Jacksonville Suns and the batter facing a 2-2 count. As soon as the Stars win this game we'll take a short break and begin today's regularly scheduled game. Today's game was scheduled for 12:05 pm, but will begin 30 minutes after the completion of Game #, whenever that will be. We're optimistic that we'll retire the Suns on the first pitch, send in our guys and end the game moments later and begin Game #2 about 11:45 am.

Today is a businessperson's special. If you're looking for a great way to thank an employee or a customer, bring 'em on out to the ballpark and buy 'em a hot dog and a barley soda. There is absolutely no rain in the forecast today and the Panoply Arts Festival is over, so you have run out of excuses. The Stars are just one game out of first and riding a wave of some serious offense. If you love a game where the bats open up and the lights on the scoreboard are on the verge of exploding, then come on out to the yard this morning for Stars baseball...baseball with an attitude.

Rock On!
