Everett has waited a long time to get to the Playoffs and so has Chris Weakley, with an emotion few weeks with the passing of his father, and being away from the team a week for personal reasons Chris Weakley is back.

Chris decided this would be a good time to set an IBL Playoff Record with 10 three point baskets made in one game ending with 34 points for the game this sharp shooter was anything but rusty. " With Weakley hitting his first three point shots of the game this was going to be a lights out night for Everett deadly shooter. Marco Morgan really played tough in the first half and finished the game with 11 points and 12 rebounds.

The third and fourth quarter featured a lot of bench players for Everett. Justin Vandenbosch scored a bucket and Mike Jones picked up four fouls in the matter of three minutes but the game was over at this time and Redwine wanted to reward everyone for the time they have put in all year. in the early games Portland defeated Las Vegas and Santa Barbara defeated Central Oregon so the top 3 seeds have moved on with Salem leading Lewis County in the late game.

Explosion's Three All Stars were kept to limited minutes as to not let Santa Barbara get a full look at them. Rashaad Powell had 23 points 7 assists, Justin Murray 21 points and 9 rebounds, and Donald Watts had 15 points.

Everett now looks to play Santa Barbara who finished the season at 15-5 compared to the Everett's second best record in the west 16-4. With 8 players that have played in the NBA D-league or with an NBA team with two former players from the Seattle Sonics.
