Reading, PA - Baseball goes hand-in-hand with food and drink like no other sport. To celebrate, the Reading Phillies and Reading Eagle will host six Ribfests and Rock Hits Y-102 and All-Star Distributing will host three Beer Tasting Festivals at the Reading Eagle Pool Pavilion during special games this season.

The all-you-can-eat Ribfests will be held on April 5, 7, 20, May 15, 29 and 30. The Beer Tasting Festivals will be held April 21, June 7 and July 5.

Ribfest tickets are $15 per person. Ribfests start when gates open and let you chow down through the 7th inning. Included with your ticket are: three mouth-watering flavors of ribs, macaroni & cheese, potato salad, baked beans, a variety of Pepsi soft drinks and of course, access to the heated pool. Beer and Mike's Hard Lemonades are available at the cash bar to adults 21 and older.

There is no minimum ticket order; however, groups of eight will receive their own personal table. Children under four are free but do not count towards the group number.

The ribs are provided by Kathryn's Katering in Blandon, PA. Kathryn's has been catering the R-Phils picnic areas since 1997.

The Beer Tasting Festivals tickets are $25 per person (adults 21 and older only) and include samplings from All-Star Distributing's family of fine imported and domestic beers for two hours after gates open plus the pool buffet. The buffet runs for two and a half hours and features: BBQ ribs, BBQ chicken, hot dogs, baked ziti, BBQ sandwiches, macaroni and cheese, pasta salad, potato salad and Pepsi products. Beer and Mike's Hard Lemonades are available at the cash bar to adults 21 and older after the sampling ends.

During Beer Tasting Festivals, swimming is not allowed and no one under 21 is permitted into the Pool Pavilion.
