Toronto - The Board of Governors of the Ontario Hockey League today held a meeting and approved the sale of the Guelph Storm Hockey Club to GS Enterprises. The group was headed by President and CEO Elliott Kerr and also includes John Heeley from the original ownership group, as well as Rick Gaetz, who will represent the team on the Board of Governors, Chris Cuthbert, David Livingston and Rick Hoyle.

"The Ontario Hockey League is excited to bring in this new ownership group," said OHL Commissioner David Branch. "Their skill set will only serve to enhance the winning tradition and strong values that the Guelph Storm Hockey Club has implemented over the past 15 years."

"It's a very exciting day for our ownership group," said Kerr. "We look forward to the challenge of building on the rich heritage that the original ownership group built for the Guelph Storm."
