Charlotte Re-signs Four More From Championship Squad

(Charlotte, NC) - Charlotte Eagles Professional Soccer announced today the signings of midfielders Sam Casey and Chris Lemons, and forwards Danny Harvey and Patrick Daka. The four will look to continue supporting the Eagles' scoring duo of Jacob Coggins and Dustin Swinehart as the Eagles work to defend the title in 2006.

Sam Casey will be playing his 3rd season with the Eagles after winning 2 National Championships with Messiah College in his collegiate career. Sam was a MAC 1st team All-Conference pick and NCAA Regional All-American.

Chris Lemons will also be experiencing his 3rd year with Charlotte after playing professionally with the Virginia Beach Mariners and Indiana Blast. The 26 yr. old Kansas native will look to play an integral part in the midfield for the defending National Champs in '06.

Danny Harvey, a local product of Waxhaw, NC, grew up playing for Eagles' Youth Teams and attending Eagles Soccer Camps. Now the team MVP and All-Conference pick from Bryan College will be spending his 2nd year with the same team he grew up cheering for.

Patrick Daka brings great skill and experience to a veteran roster in 2006. The Zimbabwe Native and former National Team member will continue to bring his exciting creative style in his 3rd year with Charlotte.
