Navigators announce date for name change

Navigators Baseball L.P., the ownership group of the Norwich Navigators will officially re-launch the team by unveiling the new team name and logo. Team President and Managing Partner Lou DiBella will reveal the change to the media, fans, advertisers, investors and general public between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Also in attendance will be Double-A Pitching Coach Bob Stanley and Hitting Coach Roger LaFrancois. The Navigators encourage the media to inform the public that all fans are welcome to attend the unveiling. The entrance closest to the Hard Rock Cafe is the Rainmaker' entrance.
The Navigators are the Class AA affiliate of the San Francisco Giants and a member of the 12-team Eastern League.
