
Rupert to visit Victory Field July 16

INDIANAPOLIS, IND. â "America's Favorite Survivor," Rupert Boneham, is scheduled to appear at Victory Field on Friday, July 16. The Indians play the Pawtucket Red Sox at 7 p.m. and Rupert is scheduled to throw out a ceremonial pitch. Rupert will also be available for an autograph and photograph session with fans during the game.
Rupert originally finished eighth on "Survivor: Pearl Islands" and due to his popularity was a contestant on "Survivor: All-Stars." After a fourth place finish on that series the Indianapolis resident was voted America's Favorite Survivor, winning a $1 million prize. Rupert garnered 85 percent of the 38 million votes.
Friday's game is the next Friday Fireworks Night at Victory Field, featuring a spectacular post-game fireworks show courtesy of Pepsi, The Indianapolis Star, Reeves Buick-Pontiac, WTTS-FM, and WISH-TV. Friday also features the next WISH-TV Survivor Night in which eight WISH-TV viewers will compete in challenges throughout the game until one winner is named.
Tickets are still available for Friday's game. Adult ticket prices are $8 and $12. Fans may purchase tickets in person at Victory Field, online at IndyIndians.com or by calling ticketmaster at (317) 239-5151.
