Baltimore Bayhawks Team Up with Nutramax

BALTIMORE, Md. â The Baltimore Bayhawks of Major League Lacrosse (MLL) have joined into a sponsorship with Nutramax Laboratories for the remainder of the 2004 season, it was announced by Bayhawks General Manager Jay Pivec on Friday morning.
Based in Edgewood, Maryland, Nutramax Laboratories provides nutritional supplements for people, animals, and plants. The company leads dietary supplement manufacturers in the research of its products and in setting high quality control and manufacturing standards. Its products include Cosamin DS, a joint health supplement that helps reduce joint pain and stiffness by using safe and effective ingredients that are easily absorbed.
Other products that are made by Nutramax include Senior Moment ®, Cosequin ®, and MACRO-SORB ®.
Now 2-2 on the season, the Bayhawks make the short trip to Philadelphia to face the Barrage at Villanova Stadium on Saturday night with opening face-off scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Baltimore returns home from a two-game road trip on July 10 at 7:00 p.m., hosting the Rochester Rattlers at Johnny Unitas Stadium ® at Towson University. The Baltimore Bayhawks, a charter member of Major League Lacrosse, was founded in 2000 by the following Baltimore businessmen and lacrosse enthusiasts: Dave Pivec, a former Notre Dame and Los Angeles Rams football player, and now President of Pivec Advertising and owner of Courtney's Café in Timonium Maryland; Chris Hutchins, former University of North Carolina lacrosse player and owner of Bacharach Rasin, the oldest lacrosse equipment retailer in the world; Dr. Raymond Schulmeyer, former lacrosse player at Cornell University and owner of Schulmeyer Animal Hospital in Perry Hall Maryland; and Gordon Boone, former lacrosse player at Salisbury State College and now a commercial real estate broker with Ryan Commercial.
