NEW YORK – In 12 games this season, the Los Angeles Avengers have turned over the football only five times – Chicago is the next closest with 10 turnovers. The Avengers, which has lost three fumbles and been intercepted only twice, have played eight “turnover-free” games this season and are 5-3 in those games. Los Angeles is No. 2 in the AFL in turnover margin with +13 (Indiana, +14, No. 1 in AFL).
The Avengers (7-5) play the defending champion Tampa Bay Storm (6-7) at St. PeteÂ’s Times Forum on Sunday at 3 p.m. ET on NBC. The following is a look at the top turnover margin leaders and their respective records:
