
SkyChiefs call on "Doc"

After battling to a 2-2 tie against the Clippers on Tuesday the SkyChiefs used a heavy dose of Roy "Doc" Halladay in downing Columbus 10-1 in Spring Training action Wednesday. Halladay went eight shutout innings giving up just four hits while striking out 10 Clippers.
The SkyChiefs offense pounded out 10 runs and 13 hits. Top Prospect Alexis Rios got the SkyChiefs on the board in the first with a solo home run. Leadoff hitter Russ Adams led off the fifth inning with a solo shot and Guillermo Quiroz added a three run home run in the ninth. Adams finished the day 2-5 with four runs batted in, Rios was 2-4, Noah Hall was 2-4 with a double and a triple and Howie Clark was 2-4 with a double.
