
Quest Signs Pro Volleyball Veteran Wendy Stammer

ST. LOUIS, MO., OCTOBER 21, 2002_The St. Louis Quest today announced the signing of 13-year pro volleyball veteran, outside hitter Wendy Stammer (San Antonio, Texas, Louisiana State University).
Stammer played professionally in Germany and Italy and also for the defunct Major League Volleyball Association and the National Volleyball Association. ESPN volleyball play-by-play personality Chris Marlowe once said: "Wendy has played in every league ever invented."
Her volleyball knowledge and versatility propelled her to 5 seasons on a variety of pro beach tours, including 5 AVP events in 2001 where she finished second in one event and third in another.
