October 7, 2015 - The Indy Fuel started the pre-season schedule off with a 4-1 win over the Fort Wayne Komets on Wednesday night at Indiana Farmers Coliseum. After Cody Sharib gave the Fuel a 1-0 lead at 3:56 of the first period, Casey Thrush made it 2-0 with a power play marker at 16:28 after banking a backhand feed in off a Komets defender and past goaltender Andrew Walsh. DeSousa Returns to Indy

October 7, 2015 - INDIANAPOLIS - The Indy Fuel, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's defending Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks and the AHL's Rockford IceHogs announced Wednesday that rookie forward Chris DeSousa has been assigned to the Fuel from Rockford. DeSousa, 25, appeared in 20 games for the Fuel at the end of the 2014-15 season, picking up 16 points (7g, 9a) while logging 40 penalty minutes.
