Young Life Wichita, Newman University Bring Faith and Family Night to Wichita

The Wichita Force are excited to announce that Young Life Wichita along with Newman University and Bott Radio Network will sponsor the team's Faith and Family night on Friday, April 1 at INTRUST Bank Arena.
Found in 1941, Young Life Wichita is a Christian-based, faith group that serves the Wichita and surrounding area communities through outreach to bring youth, starting with middle school aged students, together through faith based events, gatherings, and networking.

"We appreciate the Force's desire to be a blessing to the faith community in Wichita," Young Life Metro Director Matt Shepard said. "Young Life is pleased to be a part of bringing together faith and football."
Newman University, a private non-profit Catholic coeducational institution, is located off of West Kellogg on the south side of the interstate. Serving 3,736 students in 2016, Newman offers undergraduate as well as graduate programs ranging from education to social work with many programs in variation in between.
This is the second season in row that Young Life Wichita and Newman University has partnered with the Wichita Force to bring Faith and Family night to INTRUST Bank Arena.
"We are excited to be able to help sponsor this event," Noreen M. Carrocci, President of Newman University, said. "I think it's wonderful that a professional sports organization, like the Force, is taking time to promote faith and families. Newman is a place where faith is embraced as part of the learning experience. Even though Newman is a Catholic university, we're open to all. Students are prepared well to succeed in future careers but our goal is to educate the whole person, encouraging them to seek truth and a meaningful, purpose-filled life, and empower them to change the world."

Following Friday night's game, fans are invited to join the Wichita Force and Lady Force dance team at TGI Fridays located at 2441 N. Maize Rd. Players and dancers will be available for autographs at the post game party.
For only $55, fans may purchase a "Family Four Pack" including four end zone level tickets, four hot dogs, four small drinks for the night's game. Also included in the package, fans will receive a family four entertainment voucher courtesy of All Star Sports located on west 21st Street in Wichita.
